As a non-profit, tax exempt, public charity it is our responsibility to share information about our stewardship of the organization with you.
Operating the Cheney Historical Museum and caring for its collection is the largest part of our parent Tilicum Club’s activities.
Purchases from the Museum Shop, memberships, and donations to the museum are used only for museum programs.
The entire organization operates on a tiny budget and a great deal of volunteer time and effort. Because our annual income is less than $25,000 a year, we are not required by the IRS to file an annual 990 income tax statement. We filed the federal form 990 for our 2006-2007 fiscal year. Since then we have prepared an Annual Income & Expense Statement at the end of each fiscal year.
We are registered as a charitable organization with the Secretary of State in Washington,
